Anti-Spam Protection Checking

After installing the Anti-Spam plugin you can test if the protection works correctly. The plugin should protect all website forms. Protection for forms that use non-standard methods may work incorrectly. Use this test email address for tests: s@cleantalk.org (it should be always blocked).

- Log out from the website Admin Panel or use incognito mode or another browser before testing

- Open the form you want to test.

- Fill in all form's fields. Use s@cleantalk.org as an email address.

- Submit the form.

- If the protection work, you will see one of these messages or something similar:

- Do a full backup (website files and databases)

- Install the Anti-Spam plugin using the appropriate guide.

- Enter your CleanTalk access key (you can find it in your CleanTalk Dashboard)

- Log out from the website Admin Panel or use incognito mode or another browser before testing

- Open the form you want to test.

- Fill in all form's fields. Use s@cleantal.org as an email address.

- Submit the form.

- In the case of success, you will see a message like the one the above shown. Your request will be added to your Anti-Spam logs.

- If the test fails, enter the plugins options and try to enable more protection options such as Protect custom forms or Check all POST data. Enable Check all POST data last of all.

- Repeat the test of the form after enabling each option.

- If nothing helps, please contact us. We will try to test your plugin and do the integration as soon as possible.
